Constance Lemuria – Praslin – The Seychelles

Constance Lemuria is part of the Constance Group of Hotels and is comfortably located a few minutes from the airstrip on the island of Praslin, one of the granite group of islands and the second largest in the Seychelles archipelago, approximately 7 miles long and 3 miles wide. Its most famous attraction is the Vallee De Mai, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A virgin tropical forest millions of years old full of all types of rare plants endemic to The Seychelles and includes the famous coco-de-mer palm trees, a botanical rarity and indigenous to this island. The marvel of this island does not end here.

Lush green vegetation and granite rocks surrounded by coral reef and blue crystal clear, warm waters of the Indian Ocean gently caressing white sandy beaches glowing under a deep blue sky, is a dream come true . On Praslin, majestic bays alternate with secluded ones, each displaying their own unique characteristics carved over time, waiting to be discovered and explored. One of the favourites is Cote d’Or to the West, an exquisite white sandy beach fringed with filaos whilst Anse Boudin, Anse Bois de Rose and Anse Kerlan are backed by extraordinary granite formations. At the northern end of the island, guests will no doubt discover Praslin’s most famous beach Anse Lazio, where you will find perfect conditions for snorkelling and swimming. The island is ‘Heavenly’ and has indeed earned its reputation as ‘The Garden of Eden’.

The exclusive 5 Star Constance Lemuria is located near the beautiful beaches of Anse Kerlan and Anse Georgette.  The main building sits comfortably on a hillside with outstanding views of the bays. The swimming pool is uniquely designed over three levels in natural granite with cascading water and a main feature of the Hotel. As one would expect in ‘paradise’, dining formality is relaxed with Legend Restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner – The Beach Bar & Grill Restaurant overlooks the granite rocks bordering the beach, serving a wide range of fresh seafood specialities with a hint of creole, whilst the Seahorse Restaurant offers Mediterranean style cuisine and al fresco dining, overlooking the 11th hole of an amazing 18-hole (par 70) Championship Golf Course. The Hotel offers a choice of 4 bars, Legend, Seahorse, Beach and Pool Bar, all uniquely positioned to offer guests the most beautiful and dynamic views to augment their culinary experience.

In such a serene setting, the Spa offers the ultimate in relaxation with facilities including a fully equipped gym, hairdressing, beauty treatments, Jacuzzi, plunge pool, steam room and sauna.

Positioned approximately 20 metres from the beautiful shoreline are the Hotel’s  96 suites, 8 Villas and a Presidential Suite. The accommodation are elegantly and spaciously designed and built with raw materials including marble and granite, offering guests the ultimate in luxury without compromising the natural beauty of the environment. The Villas include a pool deck, dinning pavilion, lounge, open-air baths, pool and terrace. Majestically perched on the granite blocks of the southern tip of Anse Kerlan sits the Presidential Suite. By far one of the most luxurious on the island with 3 bedrooms and a private beach, multi-level swimming pool, outdoor Jacuzzi and has been carefully designed to offer guests total privacy, seclusion and a unique experience.
