Kudadoo Private Island Maldives Announces 2018 Opening

The Maldives based Crown & Champa Resorts group has announced the upcoming opening of the latest addition to its collection. Kudadoo Private Island by Hurawalhi will begin welcoming visitors to its shores early 2018, and is predicted to be among the most exciting openings in the archipelago in the coming year.

Designed by the internationally renowned architect Yuji Yamasaki, the adults-only resort will encompass just 15 luxurious villas, making the island ideal for exclusive-use. Each positioned over the water, these villas are stylishly furnished with bleached wooden floors and private terraces, as well as the service of a private butler.

While this island promises to provide a pocket of serenity, guests will also be able to make full use of the amenities on neighboring Hurawalhi Island Resort, which is just a five-minute boat ride away.

It’s here that Duniye Spa and facilities for tennis, badminton and beach volleyball can be found, along with a sports fishing boat for deep-sea fishing, a Padi dive center and water toys such as jet skis, kayaks and catamarans.

Guests then have the option of dining at the exclusive restaurant on Kudadoo Private Island or taking the boat over to Hurawalhi Island Resort to dine at 5.8 Undersea Restaurant—which is the world’s largest all-glass restaurant under the sea—the sea-view Aquarium Restaurant and international Canneli Restaurant.

Situated in the Lhaviyani Atoll, which is celebrated for its abundant marine life, the island provides the opportunity to swim with manta rays, dolphins, reef sharks and turtles, along with many species of tropical fish.

Excitement and anticipation stirs amongst the Elite travel circles as 2018 fast approaches when this Luxury Resort will welcome its first Guests, for whom it will indeed be a Happy New Year.
