Little Havana is a National Treasure…

Miami’s Cuban community, Little Havana, is the destination for many Cubans who fled their homes during the revolution in 1959 and its where people danced in the streets after Fidel Castro passed away on 25th November 2016. Over time, Cubans migrated across different parts of American but Little Havana remained as the centre for exiled Cubans, and now a favoured location for immigrants from other parts of the World. In Little Havana, life is not so different than the homeland for Cubans with cafes and cigars available in abundance. It is no wonder that the National Trust for Historic Preservation has declared Little Havana as a National Treasure
